A Tidbit on Personal Branding for success.

Personal branding must be the one most enjoyable parts of working at home for me.

With so many people and businesses out there how are you going to stand out? What makes you better than the any of the other Avon ladies out there?

Your image for one. Have you googled yourself lately? Try it!Google Me! You will probably see from the front page that  I am a work at home mom and that love animals, networking, God, pharmacy and helping other moms find legit work at home.

Google yourself, what you find is what you want to be known for. If you have nothing coming up we can fix that! Contact me so I can help you.

If you haven’t done so already you will also want to purchase a domain name, your domain name . Check out Go Daddy to see if your domain is available.

Be sure that your image stays unique but consistant too. Your reputation is important to your success.

Just one more thing I want to add. Facebook. Facebook is a great place to Get fans of your brand-you! Facebook adds and networking with others will get you more exposure and your brand out there! Check out a sample page click here.

Something To Think About!

A group of grads, well established in their careers, were discussing their lives at a class reunion. They decided to go visit their old university professor, now retired, who was always an inspiration to them. During their visit, the conversation turned to complaints about stress in their work, lives, and relationships. Offering his guest hot chocolate, the professor went into the kitchen and returned with a large pot of hot chocolate and an assortment of cups. Some cups were porcelain, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite. He invited each to help themselves to the hot chocolate. When they all had a cup of hot chocolate in hand, the professor shared his thoughts.

“Notice that all the nice looking expensive cups were taken, leaving behind the plain cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. The cup that you are drinking from adds nothing to the quality of the hot chocolate. In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink. What each of you really wanted was hot chocolate. You did not want the cup…but consciously went for the best cups. And soon, you began to eye one another’s cups.

“Now friends, consider this: Life is like hot chocolate, your job, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain life. The cup you have does not define, nor does it change, the quality of life you are living. Sometimes by only concentrating on the cup, we fail to enjoy the hot chocolate. The happiest people don’t have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything they have. The richest person is not the one who has the most, but the one who needs the least.”

Top 10 Ways To Utilize Your Business Cards.

Are you looking for new and creative ways to use your business cards? Here is my list of  the Top 10 Ways To Utilize Your Business Cards:

10. Wear them. Use them as nametags at meetings and conferences instead of
the “Hello, my name is…” tags.

9. Scan your business card in and use it as a graphic for link  exchanges with
other websites.

8. Ask your  neighborhood businesses if you may display your cards near the register.

7.Tack them on bulletin boards at supermarkets, restaurants, retail stores,
the library etc… Tack them on at any places that have  bulletin boards.

6. Give out two business cards at a time. One for your prospect or client, and
one for him/her to give away.

5. Place some on the table when you leave a restaurant.

4.Send a business card in every piece of correspondence. Letters and invoices etc… Sooner or later, the cards will be used.

3. Place your business cards in library books. You can also visit bookstores and place them in books related to your business.

2.If you are crafty you can mount them to greeting cards and send them to customers or prospects.

1. When mailing out information take a #10 envelope, facing you and
upside down, Fold the envelope into thirds. When you turn it around there is a little pocket to tuck your card in. Include it in your mailing. Use a colored
envelope to make the presentation more dramatic.

Aha! It makes sense….

Ok so how gullible were you when you started MLM?

So gullible to think that everyone was a prospect?

I think this is one of the most dreadful lies someone can tell thier down-line, a new person to MLM.

Here is why, they are setting you up for failure!  So many times I have wondered in the past “Whats wrong with me, Why cant i do this?”.

Well it wasn’t me; it was my training. It w as my up-line, my sponsors!

MLM used to be so stressful for me because of this.

You know there are just some people that were made to be  workers, and people like me and you to be entrepreneurs.

Imagine, who would make our coffee at the doughnut shop if there weren’t employees? Or chicken fingers at TGIF?

Who would  pump our gas at the  full service station?

We need these people, and guess what? You will never change an employee state of mind if that is their destiny.

So from one ex frustrated network marketer to another.

Save you sanity, save your energy for those that deserve it.
